Creating an easy-to-use Battery and Inverter sizing calculator

I agree 100% with you. The idea is to oversize the inverter by 2 times if a water pump (pressure pump) is selected. I know it is an estimation, but nothing out there is exact and the idea is to build a simple-to-use and conservative tool that anyone can populate easily and quickly for a rough...

Creating an easy-to-use Battery and Inverter sizing calculator

Yes I agree, the power consumption for each is different, the user who wants to fill in each of his appliances by themselves must be able to edit the wattage based on the sticker on his product. The idea is not to be 100% exact, but rather to give the user a conservative idea.

Creating an easy-to-use Battery and Inverter sizing calculator

The idea so far is to list the following appliances: LED Light, Fridge, Freezer, TV, Decoder, Sound System, Wi-Fi, Laptop, Desktop, Water Pump, Microwave, Air Fryer, Kettle, Hair Dryer, Heater, Aircon, Geyser, and also a custom appliance.

Creating an easy-to-use Battery and Inverter sizing calculator

Good day! I am trying to build an easy-to-use online battery and inverter sizing calculator for people in South Africa to use. With load-shedding, people want some solution to the power outages and get all sorts of advice from different people and end up being confused about what solution will...

    Inverter Battery losing capacity

I would not be too worried if I were you, Just make sure to get your battery to a 100% SOC at least 1 time per week and this will aid the balancing a lot! Because you don't want balancing to drift too far over time as then the time it takes for the BMS to do balancing increases a lot. Depending...

    Inverter Battery losing capacity

Agree, the cells will have some drift, especially when keeping your battery from getting to full level for a long time. The BMS should however within a couple of days of reaching full voltage be able to get your cells all back in line again. I recommend at least charging your battery to 3.4V per...

    Inverter Battery losing capacity

It sounds to me like SOC drift. It is very common when batteries are not regularly charged to 100% SOC. Firstly set your inverter to charge to 100%. If this does not reset the % to 100%, look on the data plate of your battery for the suggested bulk charge voltage and make sure that you get your...

    MECER 1200VA INVERTER lithium compatibility

With 12V and 24V inverters, which is normally without battery communication, most Bulk Charge and Float Charge voltages can be set manually. As the battery gets closer to its full-charge voltage the charge current of the charger inside the inverter casing will lower and keep the voltage...
