    This was what I needed up doing. It seems the Hisense U8G on offer in Nigeria is an IPS panel and that was a deal breaker for me. Shipping from the US was not an option due to cost and risk of getting a bad unit and having no warranty. In the end bit the bullet and got the LG G1.

    Thanks @codus can you please confirm if it is a VA or IPS panel. There seem to be no way knowing the number of dimming zones. I had to abandon plans to ship the U8G from the US. the cost of shipping would be so high, might as well just get an LG OLED.
