    It appears I’m not the only one with bad luck, appears there already has been a thread on this: https://mybroadband.co.za/forum/threads/connecting-ont-device-to-dc-ups.1119882/ Perhaps I should go the route of getting a UPS and ripping the speaker out to make sure I don’t get the incessant beeping

    @Polymathic No PoE on the ONT. Just 4 ethernets, 2 phone lines, and the power. I tried to power it via PoE on the ordinary ethernet but no dice. @Ferog True, I’ve attached a pic maybe the shapes on the pins are proprietary? I’m struggling to find a brand name on the device.
