    it's not too bad for now I mean we are offsetting quite a bit to the panels, today has been another crappy PV input day but overall - at least 3 quarters of that geyser load is being covered by the sun on most days with 1 quarter from grid (not perfect, but not bad at all either)

    its a big boy, 200 litres, so the one benefit is it holds onto the heat for quite a while - today it only ran for around 45minutes (compared to the 1.5 hours it usually needs) which is great since the PV has been choppy today. I guess the main thing is, we are definately offsetting alot of this...

    yip today was a little choppy for the PV, although not too bad we still managed to get back up 100% SOC for the evening considering we dropped down to 32% SOC at one point and only pulled 5kwh from grid
