I'm on private wealth and did the figures on the new rules over the weekend. I didn't notice much change to be honest. Still level 5 at around 17000 points.
I may be missing something with the latest rules but so far, I'm seeing not much impact.
My experience is 5 years old.
Investec has excellent service in comparison to FNB. FNB private bankers are a joke. Same with wealth managers.
I use FNB internet banking and their call Center and my banking isn't complex. So no issue there.
The rewards scheme at Investec is a huge downgrade...
Of interest. This rule on PW will earn you points BUT if you read the rule to completion it is also a rule that determines whether you are actually eligible for an ebucks level !!
Quite sneaky how they included this.
If you don't meet the income and 10 debit transactions requirement you will...
I haven't been able to.
Contacted someone on secure chat a few days ago and they said that they are experiencing issues.
So implied it would come right. Been checking daily and not appearing. My fee was on 5th Sep. So been almost a month now!
For PW - This is for payments to other banks. This is from the pricing guide. Looks like EFTs are free.

Sucks if PC charges for EFTs.

It might be, but I'd imagine the interest rate wouldn't be great. Website is down now for me to check.
I'd imagine any account on the screen shot you showed would classify.
I've tried 7 day, 32 day and Money Market and all worked.
Why wouldn't she get a package?
I feel sorry for the few people I know that resigned in the months leading up to June. They missed out on a generous package!
Thanks for this. I've been getting rewards for the last few years. That said I did notice the credit card transaction ID changed last month.
I can't seem to find any references to this online. Do you perhaps have a link?
Hmm, ebucks said it was because my clicks transaction was from the pharmacy and that isn't eligible.
Which doesn't make sense. I've escalated and await a response.
Assume all is good. I understand the eBucks rules well.
Should have got my normal 15% but the ebucks run just didn't pickup the clicks transactions.
Seems like noone else has this. So will call them.
Thanks.
