    The outage last night/this morning also got to me... Nothing on their Status page. No response on Social Media. Nothing here... Seriously? Don't the engineers have access to that page just say: "We are aware, chill!"? Come on, Cool Ideas! Don't start letting me down after 3 years.

    Okay, fair enough. But, surely the host can monitor things out of the ordinary. They have their "fair use policies" But, here we are, already have 1TB of storage (of which we use maybe 10%?), "unlimited bandwidth" but only 20 subdomains. Still does not explain how reseller accounts can give...

    Exactly! As I said, I accept storage, bandwidth and even resource limits. But, limiting subdomains seems very archaic.

    But I can get reseller hosting and that gives me unlimited everything! But, get your point... They also don't always advertise these limits, or later claim that number of hosted domains = subdomains...

    What are shared hosting providers' aversion to subdomains? I understand basing packages around space, bandwidth, database space, what have you. But, why limit the number of subdomains I can create? (or email accounts?) Especially if it's some ridiculous low number... Some hosts I've contacted...

    Finally got through to the chat support (2 hours...), they seem to be aware of it. However, the agent I spoke to refused to do anything stating that the dev team are still working on it. @AfriNatic hasn't responded either.

    I have. I'm sure they should be able to refund the OOB charges, as this is clearly their issue. But, this is Afrihost we're talking about.

    My parents are reporting the same issue. Their data is completely depleted despite the phone not on mobile data. Can I ask them to send screenshots to support?

    People tend to complain faster than they compliment. I've been with Cool Ideas for over 2 years now, and the only issues I've had were Vumatel related.
