    Thanks, will check it out. Pity they didn't bring the 2.5l Turbo petrol to SA then. Because almost all in-depth reviews I've seen/read about the normally aspirated 2l petrol suggest that engine is not powerful enough for the size of vehicle.

    Hmm I have spotted a couple of claimed 2.5l turbo petrol models on used car listings, but they are very few and far between. Do you know anything about the 2.2l turbo diesel models, regards reliability etc?

    Does anyone have experience of the Mazda CX5 turbo diesel vs CX5 Turbo petrol? Test driven a diesel and liked it, but some feedback on car forums suggest the diesels can suffer from reliability issues.

    I don't think they (as an administration) care that much about their "base". It's about their donors, lobbyists, AIPAC, think-tanks funded by arms industry etc. They'll placate their base with distractions and tidbits in the appropriate areas.
