Unfortunately all the phones in South Africa will be from the same batch. My first phone took a couple days. The second was like that straight out the box. Remember to test it in total darkness and with the "dark mode" enabled. Or just open Netflix
Good luck...I went through 2 in 7 days. Second one worse than the first. And Huawei's response... "Drive to our Melrose shop and we will sort it out for you" So no mention of even collection... I have now rejected the phone and waiting for the contract to be cancelled.
Maybe the green screen destroys the other 2 with toxic liquid!!
After a 3 hour episode and wait my first phone was replaced at the cell store today. And guess what... Phone 2 has a screen worse than the first one. The first one at least took 3 days to start showing the green. This one is green...
Problem with that response is some of the stores we bought from. Telkom stores do not have twilight colour anymore and to change to black they want me to cancel the whole contract and must reapply. Sounds like a load of S*** to me...
I contacted them today. While they acknowledged they are aware of the issue they wouldn't say what the cause is. They have offered to "repair" my device and I have declined. I believe a 5 day old device should be replaced. I'm sure there is a lot of silence on this matter from official channels...
So i started to notice the green haze start to take over my phone today... got it Friday 2nd November. It's the LYA-L29 model. Screen by LG. Guess tomorrow it's calls to both Huawei and Telkom
