    Air and Sea Show at Ft Lauderdale in 2002 ... just after 9-11 so US military were displaying anything and everything they had. One of the biggest ever. Since it was near a beach everything is flown parallel close to the beach so a much closer view than land-based airshows.

    Interesting driving from Colesberg to Cape Town today. 36C about 40km outside Laingsburg.. in the town 21C .. big storm very close by. Then 37.5C at Touwsrivier, 22C near Hex River, back to 34C near Worcester, 21C at Paarl and pouring, lastly 27C in Claremont.

    INM in Mexico .. made an appointment in advance, they see you exactly at the appointment time, and 45 min later you have a freshly printed cedula (national id card) in your hand with full biometrics done, etc. Way more efficient than in SA as process has been decentralised.
