Sure you can do that - can't see how that's any different from doing it from HA - still need to open an App on your phone. You'd hook it up to one of the zone connections, and then program that zone appropriately.

So, I go to log in to Supersonic's web portal today. They've shifted to using cell phone numbers for logins now. Type in my number, get the SMS OTP and I'm in........ to someone else's account..... Not that there's anything useful in their portal in any case.

I'm not an electrician, but, I'd leave the pump earth connected directly to the earth bus bar, and make a connection from there to the Sonoff earth. I'd do the same with the neutral (ie just connect that existing black wire to the sonoff wire). And I'd ask wtf Steamy Tom is doing with an earth...
