    The anti EV crowd is very woke. You know that you can drive your old diesel clankers till you die. No one forcing you a buy an EV. Just drive around, replacing your engine oil every 10000km and leaving a fine layer of soot everywhere.

    Im not sure if you are aware that everyone can see the nonsense you are speaking. Transmission oil is not changed every service (EV or ICE) You probably wont change it for the lifetime of your ownership of the car. EVs generally have very simple transmissions too, as there are no gears/syncros...

    I mean it's all about how much harder does gear need to work in order to get this payout. Will it be worth it? Like someone paying your R50 to fill your car with bricks while you drive work. Can I do it, yes. Is it worth it? No.
