    Hi Jade. What is your disaster recovery plan on these? From what I can see you only have one the host. This is fine until the s^&% hits the fan... If we host some VPS's with you and the host goes down, where will you restore the backups to if need be?

    Good luck. I have a friend who's been trying since December to transfer domains away from them (they registered his domains with their own email address). He hasn't received a single reply to tickets either. Just read online reviews, most people having the same issue with their non-existent support.

    This is greed at it's worst. I feel sorry for all the hosting providers out there. cPanel has everyone by the balls. Even if there was a comparable panel out there, I imagine that it would be a nightmare for larger providers to move over. Bye bye affordable reseller hosting, cheap Cpanel...

    Maybe take a look at these guys - https://web-guru.co.za/web-hosting/ Seems like they also use domains.co.za VPS's but run Litespeed as their web server (I'm a fan of both those brands so might be worth looking into)

    AFAIK they sold to German guys. Not sure about the other businesses, presumably it just became part of the same company which is now 1Grid.

    ^ Partially correct. WebAfrica bought Gridhost a couple of years ago and then sold off to new owners this year. The new owners rebranded to 1-Grid.
