Will an iPhone 4 from the USA work in SA on MTN???

Awesome...but no way of knowing whether or not it will unlock the phone? Or does it unlock it irrespective? I read up that it voids the warranty, but how does this affect running with iTunes and future software upgrades? I would obviously back it up before doing this (assuming I get the iPhone...

Hi Guys, MTN obviously now support the iPhone...great. My questions are: 1. Will an iPhone 4 from the USA work in SA if the phone is unlocked? 2. ...and how would I unlock it? THanks!
