All you need to do is convince any engen to try it as a voucher or a wicode or something similar. It took me a while, spoke to the attendant, the supervisor and then was on the phone to the manager. Manager told the cashier to try pay with wicode option and they entered the voucher number...
Drop the contract nonsense.
I would subscribe if they allow 2 streams at the same time on any device. I have 2 TVs in the same house and would like to be able to watch sport on one and whatever else for the kids on the other.
Make the quality of the stream the same, or better than what we see...
When I did my renewal, they told me that they do not send sms's or e-mails, so you have to go in to check if your license has arrived. Got mine after 6 weeks, but it may have arrived sooner, I don't know.
What if the main goal is to make national content more accessible to all. I am not saying illegal streaming is the answer. I am suggesting that pirating and Monochoice losing subscribers might be a wakeup call for them to revise their business plan which might make all sports more accessible. If...
The group that starts the 'Capitec' of DSTV will make great money. Cheap TV that is good enough that everyone with a Capitec account would be willing to pay for and a premium product that is double the price. What will it cost to buy out all the big sports rights for the next year?
There is a real business case here. If IPTV providers can provide R200pm low quality DSTV streams to a bunch of users with small overheads then Monochoice has got the greatest opportunity to provide a legit low quality sports streaming product which can sell like hotcakes and a HD version for...
It does show you to which devices it is linked under "Wallets + Subscription" when you click on the card you can see all the devices that it is linked to. Didn't know that.
Thanks for this comment. I have to pay this vendor monthly and had to do an EFT normally as the card payment wouldn't work. Your comment made me think I should use a smaller amount first so that it doesn't get flagged. Now I get to pay it using credit card in future.
Good point. It is interesting that the banks don't worry or look at wallet transactions after the card has been successfully authenticated. They probably see it as "in-person", so chance of fraud has to be lower. In my case it is a trustworthy vendor that I am trying to pay online, but with the...
FNB has been blocking some of my legit transactions even after confirming that it is legit for a while now. I am using a virtual card on a credit card. It might make a difference. These should all have been flagged and blocked. If they block my legit transaction, then these should 100% be blocked.
I have a very small Credit Card Limit specifically done to limit this issue. I won't ever add my debit card details onto any online / wallet feature. Using a debit card and giving direct access to your checking account is not safe.
A security feature they can add is to be able to see if your cards are linked to any other wallets.
I just checked in the FNB app and it only shows you that the card has been added to your own wallet, but it doesn't show any other wallets it has been linked to.
