Exactly - unless the rule is that the defending player must clearly indicate that he is dotting the ball down with some form of obvious downward pressure, as opposed to that he is trying to pick it up - rule is not clear to me. Just find it quite interesting. -

In the Bulls / Osprey's game, in the 77th Min the Ospreys scored a try. the Bulls no 9 took the ball over the line and appeared to ground it in the in goal area - anyone knows why the ref gave the try instead?
