Suzuki Auto SA to introduce Suzuki Super Carry bakkie

I wonder if Suzuki will update the Super Carry with the dash that's in the Eeco. It's disappointing that the Carry doesn't have basics like a fan

New Chinese Car Brand in SA: BAIC (pronounced Bike)

If BAIC actually brought their EV's to SA and came in well priced they might actually sell well.

    The Fiat Panda Thread

Does anyone know why Fiat South Africa reintroduced the Panda only to take it off the market a few years later?

    2022 Opel Astra (6th Gen)

I think opel should sell the Indian Citroën C3 as a rebaged Opel of some sorts.

    2022 Opel Astra (6th Gen)

That's unfortunate but then again it is a dying segment here locally.

    The Peugeot Bakkie Thread

I wonder why it isn't priced lower considering its made in China and isn't actually a Peugeot. Perhaps they want to squeeze out as much money from it as they can?

    2022 Opel Astra (6th Gen)

Does anyone know if we'll be getting the new Astra in South Africa?

    Volvo’s Polestar brand

So according to Polestar, they will have a presence in 30 markets by the end of 2023. Could South Africa be one of those markets, especially considering that the Volvo XC40 Recharge sold out here in a few months? I guess we'll have to wait and see...

Chinese brand Chery returns to SA

Other than the odd 1 million Km engine warranty, I do think it is a good product overall from what I have seen with a good level of standard features

Chinese brand Chery returns to SA

Reliability isn't as much of a selling point as it once was. Most people these days want the most advanced and luxurious car they can buy. Besides, a lot of people hardly keep their car for more than 5 years.

Toyota and Subaru to develop new electric platform and SUV

I don't mind the way it looks but I do wish they (Subaru) tried more to differentiate their version from the Toyota. They could atleast put their own steering wheel and infotainment in!

“No plans to introduce” electric Subaru Solterra to South Africa

I understand why they wouldn't bring it here. Subaru has a very small dealership network and of course the issue of loadshedding doesn't make it easier to introduce it to South Africa. I reckon they may introduce it eventually after the VW Id4 and Toyota variant (sorry guys I forgot the name)...

    2021 Range Rover

I wonder why they're going to source a BMW V8 and not just use the existing JLR V8. I doubt it would be more reliable or significantly more economical

    Haval/GWM Cars

    What makes you say that?

    2022 Honda Civic (11th Gen)

Does anyone know if the new generation Civic will be coming to South Africa?
