Thanks. That test was over wifi, so wasn't expecting much for the ping to the router. Re-ran with it hardwired, and router ping is 0.8<4.6ms. Unfortunately didn't resolve the 2nd hop issue

Same. I appreciate it's not possible to provide faultless internet, but these consistent packet losses and drops over many weeks means something must change. At CISP or its providers. Can't accept as normal.
Got the OTA update for my 55U7A yesterday. Did solve my blackscreen issues, as others have had, with Netflix and DSTV. Had given up using the TV's apps and was using a 1080p Chromecast, but TV has 4K Netflix and DSTV seems a better resolution too, so using them again. Firmware update for others...
Sigh. My 55" U7A with the Hisense software recently decided it would not play DSTV Now channels or Netflix. Menu and thumbnails on both are fine. Youtube on the TV is fine for everything. It's connected by cable to the router. No amount of resetting helps. I have a Chromecast, so can still watch...
