    Last night we went to a book launch for books 3 and 4 of the Winter Mage series, written by Nerine Dorman and Frank McLachlan. Really fascinating heading about their writing process; Frank creates the concepts, framework, and world, and Nerine does the writing. Lots of editing, of course...

    Their sales have been dismal for decades. The selling point back in the 60s and 70s was luxury and performance much cheaper than the competitors. They have not been able to do that for a long time. So maybe a big shakeup is a last effort to do something.
