    Expect more DStv price increases

Dstv should be very careful with the pricing of their products. I can barely afford the current price and have removed my duel view to keep costs down. People are going to leave multi choice in bigger droves than currently

Karpowership appeal fails in blow to South Africa power supply

This is the absolute best news for the economy. SA can not stand anymore multi-billion rand contracts (like e-toll). There are many local power plans not yet realized - wind power, solar power, wave power and proper maintenance by trained technical staff for our so-called old and defunct power...

    Do you use LinkedIn?

Use it to advertise my services since retirement

Should Eskom's exemptions have been denied?

Eskom is full of idiots who do not care about the country. Who can afford even a 20% price hike? And what will stage 8 do for our economy? We will be the lowest level of junk status

Will you install the COVID Alert SA app?

With what I know about our government they will use the app to charge you for walking in the street and for going shopping. NO!! I will not install anything sponsored by the most corrupt government in the entire universe!

What would it take to get you to pay your TV license?

I pay by debit order every month. If everyone paid their fees then maybe the content would improve, if of course the president appointed a decent knowledgeable board and a minister who knows what they are doing, not one that is out to destroy and steal

What device(s) do you use for streaming?

Mostly my trusty desktop or laptop

Do you have a high speed internet connection and DSTV?

Of course the term "high speed" is relative to what we are used to - in the rest of the modern world it would be regarded as "slow speed"

Which lockdown regulation made/makes the least sense to you?

The tobacco ban. Not only was it not based on scientific facts, but it also cost the country millions in excise duty that could have helped the poorest

Do you think the lockdown curfew serves a purpose?

It does serve a purpose as far as safety is concerned. At least we all should be able to sleep safely between 22:00 and 04:00, if the police keep patrolling the streets, of course. I would have preferred a 23:00 to 04:00 curfew, but that was too much to hope for. Anyway, if the curfew is...

Do you think DStv should be allowed to bundle Netflix and Amazon Prime Video with their offering?

Thay can be allowed to do it, but it has to be as an add-on, not a compulsory buy. They are expensive enough as it is

Vodacom Uncapped Fibre Giveaway - Enter Now

    Super-fast and uninterrupted internet connectivity.

Which large food retailer do you support the most often?

Checkers is by far the best although there are big differences between different store - probably depending on the management. Some just do not give the same service as others and that can be upsetting at times, but on average, they are the best and cheaper than PnP

Do you think the alcohol and cigarette bans should be lifted?

Of course they should be unbanned. We are not a police state and we never voted for zuma to run (ruin) the country. The economy needs every cent it can get just to survive, never mind to grow to the point where we can employ another 9-10 million people. Dlamini-zuma has a hidden agenda, that is...
