    For some unknown reason it just came right and started working again - not sure why. It might have something to do with the reformat of the hard drive on the decoder I had to do and waiting 24 hours for some of the apps, etc, to reset .......

I had to reformat the hard drive of the Explora and now, when using the variable setting on the DSTV remote to change the volume on the TV, it shows the volume, but when it changes the volume, the sound stops.
