    Look at the huge variability in ping times in all the tests. You are not getting reliable service. So the average speeds are likely also highly variable over time and not a factor of the SIM type.

    Rickster’s advice is 100% correct but when he states “plug in 2nd router to any Lan port on your main router” the main router is your original WiFi router, not the ONT. It would have been a lot simpler if you’d used a mesh extender, instead of getting a second WiFi router!

    You have to return the router in its original box with the SIM and MTN invoice or you'll be charged the cost of the router, which I think is R2999.
