    Ok I took it to a gearbox repair Center ... Chatted to there "Expert" They say its very soft noise and probably a bearing that not happy but they assure me its going to take a few years before it fails . they say i can ignore it ...

    100% all car shops i asked said replace Clutch kit

    Ive asked gearbox repair chaps they listened to the sound and say either gearbox bearing or gears damaged due to low oil level with the oil leek. and yep clutch kits not needed

    Ok pulled gearbox out clutch plate looked ok thrust bearing a bit rough when spinning it , anyway replaced with full clutch kit and had flywheel skimmed. After re assembly Noise still at gearbox there when in neutral and idling and if i push clutch in it goes away ....... So perhaps gearbox...

    Yep I agree .... Thats hard clutch riding or just bad clutch , Its very hard to push the clutch and the owner says they have replaced 4 clutch cables

    Car is now only at 104 000 km so probably not bad and last clutch kit was replaced in 2012

    I was suspect as I saw that cover plate was wet ... so I,d say all leaked out over time ... I have installed it back with New gasket and sealed it ... I have a thrust bearing noise goes away if I push the clutch peddle in so this weekend I will pull the gearbox and inspect ... Probably replace...

    Took it for a drive and had no problems .... at high speed temp drops to 1/4 gauge when I get home and let it idle 20 minutes builds up past half and the 2 fans come on and then it drops back to half Gauge ... I,d say all normal now I flushed the radiator with pressure hose had loads of dirt...
