    Thanks all appreciate the feedback figured that my own manual intervention was my only option, was just hoping for a hail mary, someone who had experience / luck with fixing this sort of thing before.

    Unfortunately I have not got the steadiest hands and didn't want to do more harm than good. I also only have one functioning PC which is currently my source of income as I'm working from home so cant keep ripping it apart to test the new mobo etc. Was hoping someone in the CPT area had the tools...
