Is there any timeline for this on the AirMobile MVNO?
(If I were at least able to use wifi roaming while abroad that would probably suffice for my purposes, but not sure if that's supported either. I think wifi roaming had at least been tested but disabled again due to some issues based on...
Was R29 here a typo? I still see "Standard delivery fee is R249" (i.e. much higher than you'd mentioned) and haven't noticed any updates to the delivery page on your site.
The article says "those that require a physical SIM will receive free delivery on their order" but Afrihost's page on delivery and costs says:
Which is correct @AfriNatic @Afrigirl ?
As someone on the legacy AirMobile who uses relatively little data unless going the eSIM route they still seem...
Is that WARP or WARP+?
(WARP being the free version but WARP+ at R30/mo, unlike WARP, is described as follows: "With WARP+, we route your internet requests to avoid Internet traffic jams, making it even better").
I'd done some basic testing of WARP before upgrading to WARP+ and found that I was...
Examples of what's available in China:
In South Africa at the moment I'd much rather people buy hybrids than electric cars unless they're charging from off-grid solar.
It seems a lot of the time that the question is "can I charge this thing given loadshedding?" rather than "how much additional...
Also in that story:
"the WACS, SAT-3 and ACE subsea cables have been damaged"
So is it not just 2 cables broken but 3, or has ACE been able to work around its issues (or only failed more recently)? Pretty much all I've seen in the news so far has only mentioned two breaks (but if this is...
Had noticed earlier in this thread that 2Africa was avoiding the Congo Canyon but if this story is accurate it seems likely that Equiano is as well despite it being positioned similarly on the submarine cable maps that I'd seen. i.e. the story makes the following claim:
"the Equiano cable is...
So you've said both that lower latency to Frankfurt was coming at the cost of higher latency to EU West, but are now showing that traffic to Frankfurt is passing through EU West on it's way to Frankfurt? Those statements seem somewhat inconsistent.
I'm really curious how expensive SACS capacity is given the latency reductions it offers since it's part of the comparison here. Testing from a box connected to TENET (which has SACS capacity) I get 161ms latency to an server in Florida (which fits in line with the figure here). Same box on my...
Only did a few tests with standard Warp and they seemed to get me maybe 3/4 of what Warp+ did. But would need to have tested more extensively before I'd consider my comparison of Warp + Warp+ particularly reliable. But standard Warp did seem to help quite a bit.
