Originally from Cape Town, I studied electrical engineering at what was then Cape Technikon. My main interests were communications and RF. After studying I working for a few years as a design engineer for a high tech company who designed sophisticated receivers. Although I enjoyed the work I found myself frustrated, sitting behind a desk all day, and went into techncal sales / marketing, and eventually found my way back to sales / support of GSM equipment, before becoming one of the founding member of Otto Wireless Solutions.
