Thousands of jobs at risk if South Africa doesn't implement EV policy effectively

"South Africa intends to build electric vehicles using some of the $8.8 billion of climate funding provided by some of the world’s wealthiest nations." code for we'll be building electric tricycles for use as ambulances and they'll cost R8M each and we'll be building 1000 of them. The profita...

ARB rules against Takealot over free next-day delivery claims

Takealot's deliveries has slowly gotten worse over the past couple of years. Areas that previously has next day delivery for goods in stock, now only gets deliveries 2 or 3 days later. It's not like the whole area packed up and moved 100km. Delivery drivers are still the same, delivery operator...

Koeberg may have cost Oberholzer his job - report

Mark my words! The ANC is going to push to rush this whole refurd, and it's going to result in a disaster from which Cape Town won't soon recover, and all in an effort to enrich cadres and to make it look like they are doing something about load shedding.

Government’s plan to remotely control your geyser

They installed similar devices in the Emfuleni municipality around 2008. The problem is that these things are not user configurable, but exclusively remote controlled. As far as I could ascertain, they were only installed (or forced upon) in the areas where people actually pay rates and taxes...

Koeberg reactor has to be taken offline for another 200 days

If we use the Chernobyl exclusion zone as an example, it would most likely look like this: The Chernobyl exclusion zone was a 30km radius zone around Chernobyl. Now Chernobyl was a 4000MW nuclear station whereas Koeberg is barely 2000MW, meaning the meltdown COULD be much smaller, but half of...

    www.keebot.com legit?

Look, if they specify courier, then it could be worthwhile, but I have come accross a few drop-ship shops in SA that specify courier delivery only for courier to be a code word for SAPO delivery, and truth be told, if SAPO gets involved, you have a 95% chance of your order being stolen. There...

Koeberg reactor has to be taken offline for another 200 days

The apartheid government knew you could not trust the ANC with anything as advanced as nuclear weapons, so our nuclear weapons were all disassembled before 1994, but they left Koeberg and Pelidaba in tact. Now the idiots have corrupted Eskom beyond the point of no return, and I promise you, sub...

The last hard disk drive will be sold in 2028 - Pure Storage

So let me get this right, someone from a company that does not manufacture hard drives, are now deciding that hard drive production would be stopped by 2028!? Well good luck sunshine! The pure fact that hard drives can retain data for far longer than flash, and the fact that reram has not taken...

Samsung Galaxy S and iPhone launch price comparison in South Africa vs the US

There are always local wanna-be-millionaires waiting to become rich. It's the exact same reason why cars manufactured in SA and exported to Botswana, Namibia and Lesotho are cheaper there than they are here. The same applies to electronic purchased on Amazon. I got a GPU imported into SA for...

Switching off South Africa's geysers could save up to four stages of load-shedding — Ramokgopa

If we cut off all freeloading anc and eff supporters, we can lick load shedding in 1 hour!

Godongwana proposes R254-billion bailout for Eskom

"strict conditions to protect public funds" from ordinary South Africans and people not in their click. They will also probably start with restrictions on journalists asking questions.

Godongwana proposes R254-billion bailout for Eskom

It ends loadshedding for anc cadres because they will be able to steal the money to go buy themselves generators, solar panels etc. When they said it will end loadshedding, they did not imply that it would end loadshedding for everyone in SA.
