TLDR; two sim swops, first to new sim then person in SA activate service, second sim swop to old sim which restores all services that was on previous sim.

Absa said the propensity to check transactions older than 2 years is very low
I’m on corporate consumer account; so my guy advised me I have to wait a month or so until it’s released for these accounts
It’s now active for standard consumer accounts
Not sure about training though I think a lot of the stores are Franchise owned and not Head office ? So training is delayed

Wow ....I still have no idea who had a pending order on my line .....but I had a the same issue ....it somehow got resolved in 3days but it was a nightmare.....because vumatel refused to advise new isp (cool ideas) who had a “pending” order
