    Makes sense hey, well I guess I'll just have to wait till it's open to PR's. Considering all the illegal immigration and fraudulent activity around PR and Citizenship... This is one smart move to clean out the system!

    I am applying in a month or so... I'm getting my documents ready. I just finished uni and all so I never really thought I wasn't a citizen till I started applying for jobs[emoji23].

    Yeah I was trying to register online just now. I haven't applied for citizenship yet... I'm applying in a month or so (I never thought about it till recently- adulthood ). I have attached a screenshot.

    Hi all, I am a permanent resident of SA. I have lived here since I was a kid. I had a valid RSA ID since highschool. I wanted to change my ID book to the smart ID card so I went to the eHome affairs to apply. However, it is not allowing me to register saying that only citizens can do that...
