GFS Express are useless. They took over a month to deliver my Temu stuff, but at least it eventually came. And i got a full refund from Temu anyways....
quick observation.
My battery sits at 28.2V when fully charged, and load shedding just kicked in and the voltage dropped immediately to 26.4v.
Last night during LS, the voltage never got below 26.2v after 2 hours @ 450W load.
Is this normal behavior ?
Question for the other owners here:
my 3KW unit is set to "stop charging when grid available" @ 27V , as per manual and default setting.
How does it keep charging up to 28.2V (currently) then, and is this thing drawing big power when its not supposed to ?
My worry is that it takes more energy...
i plugged in a USB fan into the port to test (worked on 1KW , not on this 3KW).
Plugged 12v LED light into barrel connector (worked on 1KW not on this 3KW).
I would never use these cheap (or any) USB ports for my phone or any device of value.
I was only planning on using the 12V , and it’s more the principal - I don’t like spending R20k+ and not having something work.
But ya not worth the hassle of returning.
Hi all.
Got a 3KW model today and my USB+12V ports dont work at all.
Looked inside and all seems plugged in ok.
Wondering if anyone else has similar issue?
RMA is such a pain as i need the damn thing now and it could be days/weeks for Takealot to sort out....
perhaps i will just live with it...
