Depennds on the phone. I have a ulephone power 5, which has a battery that lasts a long time (like a week) because its 13 amps.
Overall the Doogee phones comes with some spyware preinstalled, which you can remove with custom roms, but the Ulephone are stock android without spyware.

I have done what you describe at my house.
My plan was to feed into grid, basically use the grid as a battery, but yeah, our government sucks.
So my setup is grid tied, but limited to house's load. If house load is > solar, then extra power will come from grid.

I recall the days on my old Celeron 233Mhz, it use to fall out sometimes, and the the pc will freeze obviously. Then I had to plug it back into its slot (like a pci type slot) and then boot up the pc again.
