    @syntax - After my 5th attempt and again waiting (and refreshing to stay logged in) for 58 minutes, I got hold of an agent. Short of the long, we are going to wait. Up to 90 WORKING DAYS. See the screenshot of the agent's response below.

    @syntax - sadly, nothing yet. I tried to create an online chat with an E-filing agent, but waiting times are crazy (50+ minutes). I will try again on Monday (time zone is a challenge) to see if can I chat with someone there to figure out what's cooking. I will keep you posted.

    Nothing. Still waiting. The online status from Efiling indicates "Please note that your assessment cannot be processed immediately as there are certain aspects of your return that require manual intervention. SARS will advise you as soon as your return has been assessed."

    Same here. My status tax residency status changed at the end of May 2023. I figured I will submit my return anyway since I can't do much else. Just did that and got the dreaded "rejected" message, stating that manual intervention is required. So now we wait ...
