I have DSTV Premium and 2 PVR's, an Explora and a Pace 4P i.e. watch 1 record 3. I never watch ANYTHING live/linear because I hate adverts; never mind something broadcast at 3am. Thus I also have no use for Catch-up.
Do they take PVR use into account for their survey? If not, the figures are...
Takealot is easy, convenient, reliable and often cheapest and the first place I look, HOWEVER; do price comparisons first!!!
Presently shopping for a generator; my chosen generator is on Takealot for R14 929 plus R200 delivery surcharge. The same generator is cheaper EVERYWHERE else. Ordered...
Actually, both can be correct. For 2-ply, over, because both sides are soft and smooth. For single ply, under, because as you fold it the smooth side does the wiping. If you hang single ply paper over, you gonna sandpaper your butt.
Imho, Ronnie's achievement is major, not unlike the Schumacher's or Hamilton's or Wood's or Federer's of the sporting world, and yet DSTV considers snooker minor and not worth paying for the TV rights. Dumbasses.
Doubt it. On the old dstv forums there were many requests for darts and snooker but to no avail. They were not willing to buy the licence to screen such minor sports with such a small following. Pointing out that they screened more minor sports with no following didn't help. I was surprised they...
I'm voting but for who? I'm in a long-time dominant DA area. I like what uncle Herman is saying and would like to see his party grow, perhaps to start filling the void that a weakening, self-foot-shooting DA has left and will leave. Clearly, a new party is needed to take over from the DA...
Clarity gained. After a few iffy downloads at slow and erratic speeds; finally a clean download at between 3 and 4 MB/s relating to a test speed of 28 Mbps. So it's internet wobbles, not my rig. :)
Abbreviations aside ;) I'm glad my post is understandable. I tried a couple of different servers and although some started out downloading in the 1+ MB/s range, they quickly throttled back to around 0.5 MB/s. Still doing it this morning. Just need to be confident that it's them and they will...
Stupid question (?): Is there a direct ratio between download test speed in mbps and download speed in Mbps?
On my old Telkom setup I was getting download test speeds of around 17 to 20mbps which translated into downloading of files at around 1.5 to 2.0Mbps.
On my new Telkom setup I'm getting...
I set it up first with bunny ears (from an old router, they aren't supplied with routers anymore it seems :cautious:). After switching to the external antenna, I conclude an approximate increase of around 5mbps in speed. Still only high 20's, early 30's though.
