    Most places in CT still getting things like one 2 hour loadshedding a day, while the rest of country suffers. Classic.

    @eddief1 Some massive digging and snooping through this 'tomato' linux built by Asus. Couldnt find any tools that are mentioned online. Finally found 'ssdk_sh' Full access to all the routers configs. Set the Speed of the WAN port to 100, connection instantly got better, speeds are not max...

    Think you hit it on the nail. Just tried my one PC that has 1000mb network card, direct. Broken connection. Limit my network card to 100, works. Only issue is now, ive been search for a way to limit this routers port, but struggling to find anything.

    That does make sense, not sure how i would force the router to do this though, dont recall seeing any setting like that last time i was in the web interface. I can see the WAN of the router IS at 1000 though.

    Funny enough, the main reason ive been attempting to resolve this and move back to a proper router was to get a UPS haha. Old EEEPC doesnt have a working battery so needs wall power, and it would prob need a much beefier UPS than a router. Thanks for your input hey !
