Tips to Boost your eBucks - 1 July 2025 to 30 June 2026

I have been with FNB 20+ years, but moved my home loan from them to ABSA few years ago. Got a huge difference in the rate (+-3%). Loan transfer costs were covered also. So you can move your home loan if you want to.

    Mind The Speed Support

Thank you for the response. Please explain me how the router becomes my property. Do I have to send it to you in case of cancellation? One person of your support team told me few years ago that I have to return it back. He referred to the link https://www.mindthespeed.co.za/terms-and-conditions

    Mind The Speed Support

I have been your customer for 5 years and I am satisfied with the service. When I signed up you sent me a router, I assume it remains your property. What happens if it breaks? Are you going to replace it?

    Retirement annuity question

Correct. TFSA 36k limit per year. Otherwise penalty. At 54 you have a good opportunity to save on taxes investing in RA. You can take out of the tax up to 350k (or 27.5% of total income). Depending on your circumstances next year you can get this money back from RA fund.

    Retirement annuity question

It's two different products. TFSA you invest AFTER tax money. You are not able to claim tax back. RA (pension) this portion is tax deductable.

If you want to go offshore as much as possible but still be within RA requirements... There is an interesting option, just found myself: https://www.prescientonline.co.za/ Check High Street High Equity Prescient Fund Fee 0.95% They are getting around 90% offshore exposure. Your money - your risk.
