New electricity prices in Johannesburg, Cape Town, Durban, and Pretoria

Right now we have to vote for the strongest opposition party. We must get rid of the ANC now. Once they are are gone we can start playing around with the very small parties.

The SABC says changes to Afrikaans content did not impact advertising revenue, but won't provide data proving this point

Because it is the third largest group, ahead of English (4th) and only behind Zula (1st) and Xhosa (2nd).

    Denial-of-service attack aimed at .ZA

I use Brave, a google based browser, and could not connect to any co.za domains. I then tried Librewolf, a browser based on Firefox and had no problems connecting to co.za sites. Later in the day I could connect using Brave.

Vumatel fibre price hikes from April 2025

My increase from RSAWEB is R94.00 on Vumatel 100/50. An increase of 12.1% when inflation is supposedly under 4% is daylight robbery.

    Showmax hikes prices

Typical South African response. Not getting enough subscribers so increase price instead of decreasing. It's what got DSTV premium in the s--t. I cut the cord years ago and with streaming have not missed DSTV at all.
