It's a real pity that the Focus is not coming, we can only hope that Ford SA change their mind at some point in the future. We as dealers are kept in the dark, we haven't received any communication on the subject from them, so we don't even know what the reason for the decision is.

Manual or Powershift?
If manual, the price is average, more on the "good" side because of the low mileage but not a huge bargain.
If Powershift, definitely a fair price.
No specific reason for the lack of manual transmission in the new lineup was given to us by Ford SA, but we assume that sales of the pre-facelift manual ones were too low, and of course with the new 10-speed auto enabling quicker performance, they want to focus on that.

Ford never publishes the performance figures of Rangers and Everests - not sure why myself. Seeing that the 2.2 TDCi does 0-100km/h in approximately 11.8s, and the 3.2 TDCi in 10.9s, expect the 2.0 Single Turbo to do it in between, most likely around 11.4s. Top speed is 170km/h.

Ford SA did not give the reason why there is a hold up, I suspect part of the reason is to build anticipation and excitement! Price confirmation will now only be done in May. Initially they indicated a batch of 450 for 2019, now it sounds like it could be a little bit more - we are waiting...
