Mecer 2400VA Inverter (Community Support)

My inverter has been running flawlessly for just over two years now, keeping my CCTV system running for 8 hours plus during times when the municipality do maintenance on the lines and blow up substations. My guess is noisy power delivery... this is an inverter after all, not a UPS.

My 2400VA Inverter just released the magic smoke after a brown-out this morning. It just started screaming and showed a red LED on the panel with a distinct smell of burned electronics in the air. On closer inspection it looks like one of the power MOSFETs got really hot. Component number...
