I tend to have the same cynical view as you do on this issue. My experience indicates that what will happen in reality is that the banks will be protected because they have an electronic confirmation from the client and they will not give a damn whether it was via fraudulent means e.g. malware...- FrankLee

I got the same UPS-CONNUPS 118446 Insurance Premium debit order and phoned StdBank and got it reversed. By the way - DO NOT phone the enquiry number given by the SMS - they do not respond. Go directly to the fraud line 0800 020 600 locally or +27 10 249 0100 internationally. Demand reversal...- FrankLee
