    I could have risked it and not locked it but did not want the thief to access my personal data so I then decided to just lock and display a message if i did leave it on i could possible still track the phone but it had risk for me. I wish I could have self destructed the phone

    I have engaged with the police but as they say its only a phone and they will get to it :-( The hotel looked at the staff records and none live at that address and the thief switched the phone off after I've locked it on Saturday, never to come online again.
