    I prefer to eat something nutritious, but not much and not too fat. Sometimes after a full lunch I want to lie down. That way I become lazy and unable to work.     BIOS updates regarding vulnerabilities

    Sure I do update my laptop and desktop BIOSes but mainly for more like I am not even sure something like let's say compatibility issues with SSD, M.2, RAM and CPU's , sounds interesting ? Security is also a reason for sure, but not that much.

    So you want something like new GPU not that costly or totally new PC without GPU ? For first one go for GTX 1050 lowest model (not 1030 though!) if totally new PC then build it on something like Ryzen 5 3400G and that will be it I assume.

    Laptop Recommendation

    Basically any new business or Gaming laptop from Asus will do the trick here anyway. Do you see some points out there for such ? Look for some upper models and that's really it, don't go for highest price models, but something bit lower.

    Your fav small-form-factor PC gaming kit

    I am not sure what needs to be posted some small factor desktop with everything like for example $2k for example. But it's kinda impossible to make such ones, I thought something like mini ATX or mini ITX will be really done there no matter what.

    I can tell you that I am using last few years after my ASUS thing have died out something like for example SVEN keyboard plus mice and that's really it no matter what. And I think it have some mechanical keyboard, I bought it being in easter europe, ukraine, but I bet it's a very very good device.

    You will really void your warranty if will do so, so please be prepared if you decided to go that route. What you are decided to do is professional repairing of it and require tons of skill for doing so anyway. Nobody can do that wihout voiding warranty.

    Linux for old laptop?

    I bet that any old Laptop can really work with some Linux distro if it really neede for such, I simpyl do not get why you are not doing so anyway. Could you please let me know why Windows 7 didn't worked out ? If laptop is old then it should be fine.

    I am sorry I have read the whole thread but still missed the whole picture what is really needed, some wi-fi stick for using skype or something like some TV stick for all that matters. What do you really need there, please do let me know cause I am lost.

    Windows 10 1903 Stutter issue

    There is some few strings which I used and put them into CMD.exe under admin rights and the problem dissappeared, it was something with BCedit.exe or so you can really look up in google for that matter really, so please be sure.
