the original message was from a new number with my friends photo... and some comments and wording that only he use. I then got the pin via WA also, the pin though was not the WA security pin, it was to short. I also never clicked on a url or opened a page to initiate the install of any malware...- georgelza

carefull. my case the code was 5 digits, not 6 as per WA recovery code, also the code came to me in WA, not to Telegram or as a SMS. G- georgelza

so this happened to me, they got me via a friend. thing is they don't redirect you to a web page, this was just a WA message, with a ask to send the code you gonna get.. the code then came through on another WA message. write code in message to original friend and some how now had access to all...- georgelza
