    Maybe I didn't articulate my point clearly. I'm not saying we aren't paying too much for electricity but I'm saying for other people, it goes beyond expensive. Here are 2 example prepaid purchases. One direct from Eskom and another via 3rd party to city power. Both R700. Same period.

    The rate is very close to what Eskom is approved for to charge by Nersa with a markup which I assume every munincipality adds.
