When I was young I really thought I knew everything. I was convinced that most of the inventions of the past 10 000 years could benefit from my ideas.
Over the past 30 years I have spend much energy educating myself. The greatest of all the things I have learned is that not only do I know almost nothing, but also that if I were to live to beyond the Sun's giant phase, I would probably never be able to acquire even a trillionth of one percent of the knowledge most of us estimate to exist!
Maybe surprisingly, this fact is what inspires me most in life.
