    Fair points. Well done, you've actually convinced me. I had a look at the history, and you're on the ball. I think some of the larger teams have never taken it seriously except in the case where their UCL spots were at risk, and probably didn't deserve their spots.

    In the previous iteration of European football, UCL would drop down into Europa after group stages, so it was a decent tournament. Not so much now where they are essentially separate. If you had teams from UCL dropping in, the level of competition would be significantly better

    I was actually very positive about Arteta until very recently. But I think either I misjudged him, and he seems to be a total dick, or he's feeling a lot of pressure and that's why he's talking the way he is. The comments about points wrt Liverpool was just lame. Arsenal got 84 and 89 points...
