    Perhaps redundancy - I don't know, was just advised not to go with the 10 kva Quattro. There is a potential moving of my borehole onto this system and would then go with another 5kva Multiplus.

    so still the first day so tiny sample but the system is cruising. took a few hours this morning to get the batteries charged to 100% - I think the panels went up to about 5.7kw mid morning but then just dropped right down cause the batteries were fully charged and the consumption has been low...

    I can't speak to technical differences, not smart enough for that, it was more of a brand and recommendation thing. For me - the price difference between the various brands didn't feel like I was getting ripped off by going with the blue option. This is especially true if you look at the price...

    in my case, my main concern is insurance cover in the event of an electrical fire - would hate a claim to be declined because my insurer used this solar/inverter setup as an excuse. in my experience a simple letter getting the green light is a whole lot easier than arguing later after a major loss.
