    @wingnut771 you should not be confused. My question can you disable it, 30W load on Deye inverter. I can do this on my SunSynk.

    Yes at home. I worked on big Electric furnaces. They had a system from Conlog, which did the measurement. During normal working hours you had to stay with in the limits. But at night time it shifted to use all available energy. Not going to go into detail.

    Since we all here, Deye why do you need to 30ma trickle charge. At the end of the month it boils down to more then 3kW usage. On my 5kW sunsynk i disable this. I know before every stones me, Pre-Paid meters. We are not on pre-paid. Any other inverter suggestion.

    Gauteng, you have A or B tariff. If you go over the threshold then you get hiding. I spoke to friends of ours if you exceed threshold then it becomes R13/kW.

    With the current generation that is happening currently. My SOC is already over 90%, not a bad day. My neighbor down the road has the same outlook. Borehole,swimming pool, geyser *2 lights on all day. Double story house. Wife and teenagers *2 in the house. On a really bad day his generator...
