    I’m happy with the upgrades and system performance. Almost hit 1MWh production but the past week of haze killed me. Significantly cut grid usage.

    It's the last day of the month and was really hoping to break 1MWh of production for the month. These past few days of haze are not helping. I'll plug in the EV for what its worth and see how close I get.

    Went from 44% in the morning to 52% late afternoon. The bulk of what was produced ran the household loads. Should make it to the morning without grid. No EV charging today.

    On my system I went through the settings and found that my charge current was a limiting factor for how much I could put into my batteries. That reduced my actual production compared to the predicted and basically wasted PV. The setting was fine for the previous number of batteries and panels...

    Generator or Inverter for residential use?

    I'm on prepaid with CoJ, Empire Hexing meter. One DB, two circuits basically. Solar circuit supplies the house. Eskom circuit supplies the oven, aircons, geysers, out-building and the inverters (backup). No grid feedback I have a similar setup, but recently sold the generator.
