I didn't vote for, or opt-in to, the network change - it was just forced upon me with no option even to cancel my account in time. I've paid for a full month service...
I'm now getting around 70meg to London (same SpeedTest server I'd done most of my testing against) - so things have definitely improved for me.

I was happy I managed to get my cancellation effective end of this month rather than next, but wtf should I pay for this month of super slow internet - I may as well have my account & line cancelled immediately if it's this unusable. Monday's battle.

Yup, just used an AfriHost 1gb (trial) ADSL account (I'm with OpenServe) - it just works :p Not sure all the specifics behind it, but it's just another PPPoE connection
I was moved over on the 28th. I've had terrible international performance since, eg speedtest to the same international server (local seems fine)
