    Can't you just move it to the 3rd or 4th screen and move the app you want to use to the home screen?

    I've been looking for one for my iPad too - found one at Incredible connection for R800 (for the iPad - not sure if they have iPhone covers too) - they're soo expensive, but perhaps it's worth it because of the potential cost if you drop it...?? You could order through Amazon, but the postage...

    iPad Mini, where does it sit in the Apple tree?

    I must say, I prefer the iPad mini to the iPad 4 because it's better to handle. You can hold it in one hand and put it in your pocket - if you have a pocket big enough... it's just a touch too big for a pocket, but still love the "one-hand" holdability....
