I beg to differ. With regards to MTN admittedly (only after confrontation) changing policies, terms and conditions but conveniently fail to inform their clientele for the sake of making a sale, is proof to me that this company has become too big to care about the individual.
I am experiencing the exact same issue right now with MTN. I was eligible for an upgrade and did the process over the phone, spoke to a consultant and all went well. Until later that month when I received the invoice, came across termination fees, for upgrading! On 23 May I lodged my complaints...
I'm due for an upgrade again with MTN. Being with them for 20+ years I've noticed how priceplans and choice in cell phones are becoming terribly limited.
Your choices are limited to Samsung, Huawei, Apple, LG, Nokia and Hisense. Thats it. No Google Pixel, no Xiaomi, no Asus, no Oppo etc.
And...
